YUP IN MY WHITE TEE: A KEY TO SIMPLICITY
YUP IN MY WHITE TEE: A KEY TO SIMPLICITY
If you know me or actually seen me then you would know my style of dress is a bit eccentric (hahaha). However this weekend was maybe the most mellow I've been dressed in a long time. I had on a simple white tee, new ADIDAS SUPERSTARS and a pair of grey GAP shorts. Accompanied with a nice haircut it was an outfit that was just as good as me throwing on a tailored yellow suit.
Many times when we aren't left with many options we are forced to work with what we have and that lead us into making simplicity work. Just like this weekend I didn't have any shirts because I wasn't home so I made due with what I had and I still came out looking my best.

In these times where being flashy and designer names are everything it's imperative to know that it's actually isn't! All it takes is mastery of the simple things and you could still look above average. Keep it simple by not overthinking, stick to the essentials, and being bold/confident.

A FUTURE YOU CAN'T RUSH
A FUTURE YOU CAN'T RUSH
Another week another Future album it seems but no complaints here! Future stated in a recent interview w/ Zane Lowe that his latest album HNDRXX, is the album that he always wanted to make. In 2014, FUTURE released his sophomore project "HONEST" to mixed/negative reviews. Since his entry into mainstream stardom, fans criticized Future for going commercial/pop and assumed that he forgotten his roots. Also, add into the mix his past relationship with r&b singer Ciara, fans thought Future was too high off life(or maybe codeine) to give the fans music that they wanted.
Following a split with Ciara and a brief musical hiatus Future alongside with the superstar-to-be Metro Boomin dropped what most people consider the comeback of the century which was his "MONSTER" mixtape. FUTURE didn't stop there as he released the mixtapes "Beast Mode" , "56 NIGHTS" and the classic album "DS2". This run even placed him alongside Toronto superstar DRAKE for the collaborative mixtape "WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE" featuring the monstrous hit "JUMPMAN" and the highest grossing hip hop tour of all time "SUMMER SIXTEEN TOUR".
To get to a point of damn near a 100% creative freedom like FUTURE is at doesn't come easy. Most people would have faltered after a broken public relationship and a barrage of criticism from fans. A lesson for those in every walk of life, the point of life you aim to be doesn't arrive overnight and it often features more turmoil than joy along the way. The only way to ensure victory is to never stop playing the game and if you play long enough you'll be the one making the rules!

OLD RAP NIGGAS VS NEW RAP NIGGAS
NOW THIS STYLE OF COMPETITIVE BATTLING GOES BACK TO THE START OF HIP-HOP, BUT THERE IS SOMETHING NOT RIGHT ABOUT THIS, EVER SINCE SOULJAH BOY CAME TO THE STAGE OF HIP-HOP, A LANE HAS BEEN OPEN. THE LANE OPEN WAS FOR YOUNG NIGGAS TO GET THERE MONEY VIA THIS MUSIC SHIT, NOT SAYING EVERYONE IN THAT LANE IS COLD BUT PEEP GAME. SINCE HIS START IN THE GAME A KNOWN & NOT TO QUIET WAR HAS BEEN STARTED, OLD RAP NIGGAS VS NEW RAP NIGGAS, I AINT SAYING THE OLD RAPPERS ARE BEING PETTY BUT WHEN YOU MAKE LINES OR COMMENTS ABOUT SOMEONE NEW TO THE GAME THAT USE TO LOOK UP TO YOU, THATS FUCKED UP, OLDER RAPPERS SHOULD PLAY TEACHER THEN HATE OR DISAGREE ON YOUR MUSIC!! ALSO THERE HAS BEEN A DECLINE IN SALES & HIP-HOP AS A WHOLE!! SO WHEN THEY SEE ALL OF THIS BULLSHIT SELLING I COULD SEE HOW THAT COULD MAKE ANYBODY ANGRY BUT EVERYONE IN MUSIC SHOULD RESPECT EACHOTHER ENOUGH TO SHOW GUIDANCE BEFORE HATE!!!!
COMMON IS FROM A WHOLE OTHER ERA OF HIP-HOP & GOIN AGAINST DRAKE OF THIS ERA OF MUSIC, ITS SAFE TO SAY 70% OF DRAKE FANS ARE YOUNG LADY’S BUT HE STILL HAS A BIG MALE FAN BASE, THE BATTLE BETWEEN THEM WILL AGAIN WAGE WAR ON OLD RAP NIGGAS VS NEW RAP NIGGAS. SO BY SAYING THIS ITS ALOT OF BEEF TO COME!!!!!!!!
