Rise & Set: The Prerequisite ‘Summer Style’

It’s the weekend! Rise & Set and Mike G. suggest you TURN UP.
We asked Mike to describe ‘summer’ in 3 words. His response: “Less is more.“ No need to think too hard about what to do or what to put on. Summer is all about the get-up-and-go, so make sure your wardrobe is apt for that easygoing lifestyle.
Mike’s style is chill and relaxed, similar to the flow of The South. The Louisiana native reps a camouflage bucket hat by his own brand (out this July!). Wristwear featured in this look complement the camo theme with a Cause & Effect bracelet, who also designed his belt, and a J. Crew x Timex watch. Mike keeps it classic with a vintage Cubs jersey, RRL selvage cutoffs, and Converse.
Prep St’s newest pieces drop next month, and can be shopped via prepst1985.com or Centre boutique in Dallas, TX. Mike looks forward to releasing his newest Texas-made product and adding an indigo popover to his summer staples. Rise & Set pairs a 100% cotton Brooks Brothers rugby with Topman striped blue and white denim shorts. Camo and leather are the season’s most versatile and wearable trends, shown with Tom Ford eyewear and Yuketen tasseled shoes in blue leather, (on SSENSE and at Opening Ceremony).
It’s the weekend before the holiday, and this is what Mike G. is listening to right now: Inc. “No World”, Kid Cudi “Indicud", Willie Hutch “Greatest Hits", and a lot of Prince. (When is Prince not relevant?!)
Peace!
